Telehealth

The popularity and effectiveness of telehealth has skyrocketed in the last several years and will continue to be a strong resource for therapy providers in across the entire continuum of care –  for adults and kids. Telehealth provides significant advantages including:

  • The ability to continue therapy programs for patients who are home-bound or are unable to travel to our outpatient clinics
  • The ability to limit staff in facilities that are experiencing lock downs or quarantines
  • The ability to reach patients that are geographically remote where therapy options are limited
  • The ability for therapists to collaborate on development of plan of care, leveraging the expertise of our multi-disciplinary clinicians
  • The ability to work with pediatric patients with guidance and participation of their parent/caregiver

While in-person therapy will remain the gold standard for patient interactions, the telehealth option has opened up an effective and efficient delivery model, especially during the challenges presented by the pandemic. NIT ensures all HIPPA and confidentiality parameters are maintained at all times.
